Tłıchǫ Investment Corporation in collaboration with the Tłıchǫ Government & Aurora College is providing a 15-week Introduction to Heavy Equipment Operator Training & Work Placement Program which will contain a 3-week combination of classroom and field training in Yellowknife June 22-30 and Fort Smith Aurora College Campus July 13-28, followed by 12 weeks of work experience in Yellowknife starting on August 14, 2026.
Application/Eligibility Requirements
- Tłıchǫ Citizen Minimum 18 years of age
- Class 5 driver’s licence (priority to applicants with non-restricted Class 5 driver’s licences)
- Submitted completed application to include:
- Application form
- Copy of valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Official transcripts from high school and/or post secondary education, as applicable
- Copy of driver’s abstract (can be obtained online or in person from the Department of Transportation & Vehicle Licensing Office)
- Current updated resume
