Tlicho Community Builders is seeking experienced carpenters, with demonstrated skills and abilities in the following areas:
- Building concrete foundation walls and concrete grade beams on bedrock
- Scribing framework
- Erecting framework
- Bracing framework
- Reinforcing steel
- Concrete placement
To be successful in these roles, we anticipate applicants with a minimum of 3 years experience in the above-noted areas; experience working in remote indigenous communities considered an asset. Journeyperson certification in Carpentry considered a strong asset.
All work will be performed in Behchoko, NT; accommodation and meals provided (for successful candidates who do not reside in Behchoko); working generally a Monday - Saturday workweek.
