We are currently accepting applications for the following positions for the upcoming Winter Road Projects.
Diavik Site Janitor/Marshaller - Ref # 10.01.2021
- This position will perform janitorial duties in various locations throughout the mine site
- Must have good communication skills to be able to direct incoming vehicles
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
Diavik Fuel Handler - Ref # 10.02.2021
- Knowledge and experience working with fuel is a requirement
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence preferred
Diavik Fuel Lead Hand - Ref # 10.03.2021
- Supervisor Lever I or II Certification required
- First Aid Certification required
- Minimum 2 years’ Supervisor/Lead Hand experience required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
Diavik Field Labourer - Ref # 10.04.2021
- Freight handling experience required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Diavik Field Marshaller/Pilot Driver - Ref # 10.05.2021
- Must have good communication skills to be able to direct incoming vehicles
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
Class 3 Operator and Class 1 Operator - Ref # 10.06.2021
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating the bobcat, sno cat, water truck, fuel truck, gravel truck, plow truck, side dump truck and tractor trailer to assist with the winter road construction to the mine sites.
All positions will require security and medical clearances for the remote camp sites. Our client has a requirement that anyone travelling to work at the site must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. An individual is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after they receive their second dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. You will be required to provide proof of your vaccination status for COVID-19 upon request

The positions require individuals with proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. Candidates must be open and flexible to perform other duties as required. The ability to speak the Tłı̨chǫ language is considered an asset. This is seasonal employment working on a rotational schedule in a remote camp site setting; 12-hour days/nights.
