The previous years has made many people more aware of the exposure control planning process, as it helped to protect us from COVID-19. As the Wildfire season typically runs from early April to late October we have seen that it has started with catastrophic results throughout Alberta and as of last night in the NT with Hay River being evacuated and alerts for Enterprise as wildfire burns through forests and grasslands, it produces dense smoke that can be a major source of toxic air pollutants.

Completion of TG Staff Housing Initiative - Phase 6

For the past four years, TPM has been working on the TG staff housing initiative to provide staff housing in all the Tłı̨chǫ Communities for TG and Tłı̨chǫ Community Services Agency (TCSA) staff. All the homes are prefabricated modular homes that are 22’x76’, 40’76’ and 16’x 76’. These homes are a combination of duplex properties (2 bed, 1 bath each side), full homes (3-4 bedroom, 2 bath) and fourplex properties (2 bed, 1 bath each unit).

Wekweètì Store Construction Progress Update

Exciting advancements are being made on the Wekweètì store project! After successfully transporting the store—an impressive 32,000 kg structure—over a 424 km ice road, we are now focusing on the finishing touches.

Currently, our team is busy adding the siding to the exterior of the store, enhancing its durability and visual appeal. Inside, we're setting up the interior to ensure it’s fully functional and ready to serve the community by summer 2024.
