Working outside in the winter can be a dirty job, but many of us must do it. Are you ready for winter work?
With the weather changing the flu and cold season is upon us. The flu affects most people at some point in their lives. Almost everybody experiences the flu multiple times in their lifetime. It is most deadly to those individuals with a weak immune system and those older than 65 years old. Some flu seasons are worse than others. The flu virus is often most active beginning in late October and can last as late as early May.
In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we remember the children, the residential school survivors and their families, and make a continuous commitment to acknowledge and learn from the experiences our Indigenous people have survived and continue to heal from.
