Exciting Progress on the Wekweètì Store Project
We are thrilled to share the latest updates on the new store development in Wekweètì! Here’s a quick overview of the milestones we've recently achieved:
- Store Design and Manufacture: The design of the store is complete and has been manufactured in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
- Arrival in Wekweètì: The store successfully arrived in Wekweètì via the winter road on April 17, 2024. This marks the beginning of the physical transformation of the site.
- Demolition of Old Duplex: To make way for the new store, we have demolished the old duplex onsite. This was an essential step in freeing up the necessary space for our new location.
- Lot Development and Pad Preparation: We've completed the lot development and pad preparation. This included extensive groundwork to ensure a solid foundation for the new store.
- Store Relocation: This week, the store was moved onsite, bringing us one step closer to completion. The relocation process went smoothly, and we are excited to see the store in its new home.
- Ongoing Setup: The setup of the store is currently in progress, and we are gearing up to start the installation of the metal siding next week. This will enhance the durability and aesthetics of the store.
