At Tłı̨chǫ Engineering and Environmental Services Ltd., safety and preparedness are top priorities. This December, we hosted vital training sessions to enhance our team’s capabilities for the Winter Road Construction Project.
On December 2–3, Arctic Response conducted training at TIC Corporate, certifying participants in WHMIS, TDG, and Spill Response Levels 1 and 2. They learned about SDS, spill reporting, and safe cleanup, and even participated in outdoor mock drills. The session included one Tłı̨chǫ member from our GMRP staff, further strengthening community collaboration.
On December 5–6 in Whatì, project staff completed GRP Profile training with our new amphibious Fat Truck, improving profiling capabilities for challenging terrains.
These sessions highlight our commitment to safety, skill development, and community involvement as we move forward with critical projects.
